Sprinturn Video Making is a web-based system that creates and publishes educational short-form science and technology videos to connected social media platforms, including TikTok.

Information Sprinturn Video Making may process

When a TikTok account is connected, Sprinturn Video Making may process information needed to operate the authorized integration, including TikTok account identifiers, OAuth authorization metadata, granted scopes, publication identifiers, publication status information, and information required to submit videos and captions.

TikTok authorization and credentials

Sprinturn Video Making may use TikTok Login Kit and TikTok OAuth to connect an authorized TikTok account. OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored server-side with restricted file permissions and are not intentionally exposed in public pages, source-control repositories, or normal application output. Sprinturn Video Making uses TikTok permissions only for functions authorized through the TikTok consent flow.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the connected TikTok account, submit authorized video posts, check publication status, prevent duplicate publication, recover safely from temporary failures, and operate the connected-account workflow.

Sharing and sale of data

Sprinturn Video Making does not sell TikTok user data. Information may be transmitted to TikTok as necessary to use TikTok's authorized APIs and publishing services. Sprinturn Video Making does not intentionally disclose OAuth credentials publicly.

Security

Sprinturn Video Making uses reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to the current system design, including restricted server-side credential files, non-public token storage, redaction of credentials from normal diagnostics, bounded retry behavior, and durable publication-state tracking intended to reduce accidental duplicate posts.

Retention

Sprinturn Video Making retains authorization and publication-state information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the connected-account integration, support publication recovery, and operate the service. Data may be removed when it is no longer needed for those purposes or when the integration is disconnected, subject to operational and security requirements.

Revoking access and disconnection

Users may revoke Sprinturn Video Making's TikTok authorization through TikTok's account or application controls where those controls are available. When authorization is revoked, Sprinturn Video Making can no longer use the revoked TikTok credentials. Requests to disconnect an integration or remove associated Sprinturn Video Making-held authorization data can be handled by the Sprinturn operator where applicable.

Third-party services

TikTok is a third-party service with its own terms and privacy practices. This Privacy Policy describes Sprinturn Video Making's handling of information within its own integration and does not replace TikTok's policies.

Changes to this policy
